Is a drone inspection safe for my property?
Yes, absolutely. The drone never lands on or touches your roof. We conduct the entire inspection from the air, at a safe distance. There is no risk of damage to your property.
Do I need to be home during the inspection?
Not necessarily. Your presence is only required to sign the service contract. We simply require safe access to the area around the home. If you prefer to be present, we would be happy to arrange that as many clients enjoy watching the flight.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. INSPECTRA is fully registered with the Irish Civil Aviation Authority (IAA) and has comprehensive liability insurance. All flights are conducted in full compliance with Irish and European Aviation Safety Authority (EASA) regulations.
How long does the inspection take?
A standard residential roof inspection takes approximately 30-45 minutes on-site. You will receive a full report with photographs within 3 business days.
What will I receive after the inspection?
You will receive a professional PDF report including high-resolution aerial photographs, a detailed description of the defects found, and clear recommendations, prioritized as urgent, routine, or no-action.
Can you fly in Irish weather?
We carefully monitor weather conditions before each flight. We safely operate in light winds and cloud cover, ideal for inspections as it provides uniform lighting without harsh shadows. We will reschedule your flight free of charge if conditions are unsafe.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on the scope, access conditions, urgency, and the type of deliverables required. Contact us for a custom quotation tailored to your specific project requirements.
What areas do you service?
We are based in Dublin and service Dublin, all Dublin metropolitan areas, and surrounding counties, including Wicklow, Kildare, and Meath. Please contact us if you are located outside these areas and we can still help.
Can the report be used for insurance purposes?
Yes. Our reports include time-stamped photographs and a signed statement from a licensed professional, making them suitable for insurance claims, pre-sale surveys, and legal documentation.

We inspect all types of residential and commercial properties including houses, apartment buildings, commercial buildings, and industrial properties. We also work with roofing companies, property management companies, and real estate agencies.
